Going to be a tough game as always there. Unfortunately Burnley have hit probably their best form of the season now. I watched the Chelsea game and they were a handful up front, especially on set pieces as you would expect and hard to break through the massed ranks at the back. We need two wingers to get behind them and our shooting boots on when we do.

It’s Dippers’ Clutching at Straw Time again. Dyche a lifelong Pool supporter? Just like Nolan that would do everything to stop us in the final game 14. That went well did it?

We know how Burnley will play, we just have to make sure that we don't give them many chances to pump the ball into the box. no corners and cheap free kicks. I know they drew at Chelsea but by all accounts Chelsea battered them and should have scored a hatful. We are a better team than Chelsea so hopefully we will score a couple early on and then control the game. We have done ok against them this season at home and no reason why we can't so so again. And despite Dyche supposedly being a dipper fan I don't think their fans like them that much. Mind you they don't like us that much either.

According to the cult, everyone's a life long Dipper fan.

Reckon Laporte might be deployed to LB for this one for the extra height at the back.
Yep I think you could be right, This will be a game were Otamendi starts alongside Kompany at centre half to deal with balls coming into the area.

We need as many planes as possible to go overhead so they take their eye of the game!!! Also take banjos, crossbows, and learn to yodel.
as to mix in with the locals?? That way it will create a carnival atmosphere, and everyone in the ground will be cheering us on to win

As long as can take 50% of the chances we create, we should win this.
Burnley can be dangerous, but only if we are stupid enough to play their game. Move the ball quickly, make them chase the ball and they’ll tire.
I think Zinch did enough v Rags to earn another start.
Gundog should start as he finished as DM with 2 Silvas either side.
Pep obviously has a plan for this game.
A win please with no injuries is all we are asking for.
If we have to win ugly, then do it.
Dyche is a massive ginger cünt and would love nothing more to go on tv gurning about him doing Liverpool a favour.

Ederson

Walker Stones Laporte Zinchenko

Gundogan

B.Silva D.Silva

Sterling Aguero Sane

Same team that won the 2nd half of the derby minus Kompany unless hes fit to play. Gotta watch the front 2 on set plays they're dangerous so hopefully we don't give 2 many silly fouls away.

3 to go City come on the finish line is soooooo close.

We just need to play our own game. The most important thing is not to give them a chance of launching high balls into our box for their big men to get onto. The 1st goal is important and that is what we have to do get that 1st goal and make sure that we put away are chances that we get, and not like last season when it cost us a win. Just because ewe failed to put away our chances.

Burnley away has Kompany written all over it
To be fair it doesn't matter who the RCB is in this one. We are going to own possession, and they are not going to press like United did early.

So whether it's Kompany, Ota' or John next to Laporte, I'm not sure it would be crucial. Of the 3, Stones does the best job of keeping the ball moving. Kompany does the worst. Even though Kompany's pass is the crispest of all 3 and John's the most hospital like.

So either way, it won't matter much so long as we have possession and cycle quickly.

With only three games left there doesn’t seem to be any reason to rotate any more. So, strongest 11 to start which, assuming Ferna isn’t fit, is pretty much the team we had out against the Rags after Ferna went off. They are obviously going to sit back and try to hit us with the long ball over the top to their two big forwards.

It’s going to be a tough, physical game, but we should have more than enough.

we're early goal kings at the moment, i can think of at least 3 (maybe 4?) occasions this last few weeks where we've scored in the opening 5 mins.

more of the same please Blues! no doubt a tricky test, with added pressure that Liverpool will 99% likely have beaten Huddersfield

Strange feeling of being worried and confident at the same time.

We cant afford to bank on a second half rescue act, thats to much to take, get them early please.
