Very strange, was a lot of talk about him 2 years ago but havnt heard a thing about him since? Was he out on loan with anyone?

Laporte playing left back? A very strong team and with Wood and Barnes out for them it should help with set pieces, although Mee is quite good at them.

I can’t see Laporte playing the classing left back role running up and down. That’s not his thing. I think he’ll be defending as a left back but when we attack, Laporte takes the left CB-role in a back three with Cancelo tucking inside in midfield causing overload in the final third. Pep is smart :)
He knows Burnley will defend with 10 men.
