We only beat Wolves on penalties as well.

What I am saying is whatever side we put out its good enough to beat them.

Burnley will, for sure, play a substantially weaker team. Win on another squeaky-bum finish

You are entitled to your opinion , obviously , BUT why should Burnley field a weakened team?. They are not going down - are relatively secure and the FA Cup
is surely a great competition to do well in. IMO a weakened City side(such as that which played against Wolves and Leicester) will struggle against a combative Burnley side.
I would like to see Ferny , KdB and Merlin get a rest after 10 games in 30 days , but are our subs. e.g Yaya good enough?.

We need our full strength team if possible. Burnley will no doubt try the hoof ball into the box, so if Stones is available he should start with Ota or Tosin/EM.
Would be nice to see Diaz and Nmecha start to gain experience.
Bernardo & Gundy for El Mago & KDB
I hope we can come through this physical contest without any injuries and allow us to rest a few for the Bristol City game prior to Victimpool match. We will need our top boys out for that as they will still be smarting from the bumming we gave them.

Claret here:- really looking forward to this one regardless of the line ups. We'll field a strong team as "rotation" is not in Dyche's vocabulary. Should be a decent atmosphere as we've sold our allocation...

Don't get all these people who say that Burnley will rotate heavily for this match. They've had an extra day to prepare and they don't play again afterwards for a week. They know that we have rotated the squad for cup games (and only scraped through) and that recent fixtures (Palace and, to an extent, last night towards the end) have shown that we can be rattled by constant pressing and harrying, pouncing on wayward passes when the lads tire. As they have plenty of time to recover afterwards why wouldn't they give it a go? They may not win the cup but taking a big scalp along the way will get their morale up and help in the league - as it used to do for us when we were in a similar position.

This is going to be a tough match and anything less than a full strength City side on top of their game will be in danger of going out.

Can't see it being anywhere near full strength, we have a semi final on Tuesday, where a strongish side should get a win big enough to send a weaker team for the return leg, then Liverpool at the weekend. After the last 2 weeks I think as few first teamers as possible will be risked on Saturday. Ederson, Walker Delph, Fernandinho, KDB, Sterling, Aguero should all be rested. Maybe Stones and Otamendi as well.

I don't think I have ever cared less about an FA Cup game. It would be nice to win the cup but only as an addition to having already won the title. I would happily see a weakened side, if Pep feels that the players need a rest to assist with winning the title.

Our stiffs have looked way off pace re wolves Leicester Shakhtar and the gulf in quality between first 11 is like the gap between us and Stretford.
I’d rest kdb the general fern walker ederson Aguero and bench sterling sane to come on if needed
Not sure how ya ya is avoiding the nasri fat test perhaps the measurement meter is going around the clock ? He could count as two players if based on weight and he needs to stop playing in white trainers.

Bravo
