Burnley (H) - FA Cup Quarter Final | Post Match thread

Finally got to see the highlights as I’ve been working.

First 20 mins or so thought we looked out of sorts.

But we do what we do and go through the gears.

Special mention to Alvarez, looks an amazing prospect, that turn to put Dahkil (sp)on the deck and then be so composed was incredible.

He just impresses me more and more, city hero or not, this guy is top class. I hope I can see him with ANY team lift a trophy as a manager.
Definitely a future City manager but I'm worried for his philosophy next season with a relatively weaker set of players. To be honest I was quite surprised by Burnley's lack of quality today, given their runaway lead in the Championship. They had effort and tactical nous but virtually nothing going forward.

To play Pepball Light (c) in the Premier League needs investment. Really hope Vinny gets some backing in the transfer market.

He's almost making me forget that Burnley are one of the Hateful 9.

Bit of a reality check today for our 6 fingered friends and it helps their preparation for next season.

Their fans seem happy enough with not having to play Bastard Rovers, no never, no more, (even though Bastard Rovers are in a play-off place) and singing about libraries and something about burning a Lee. - Hope it's not Francis. Strange lot.

His turn the other day was a thing of beauty. Reminds me of Aguero
