We were careless for their goal, but I could't fault our commitment. We looked like a team, and played a good game, but Liverpool knew we were suspect defensively and all thye had to do was hit us on the counter. All it took was one counter and we were broken. Toure is not good enough. Neither are the full backs. Stones had a good game, but where was he for their goal? Too many weak links in our team now. December was pretty much a disaster, as I feared it would be. Only the Arsenal 2nd half display and victory was the highlight. We even made hard work of Hull away before beating them. Yes, we should have beaten Chelsea, but once again poor finishing and defending let us down. Leicester was a disaster, end of. Again poor defending and producing nothing in attack at Liverpool. TBH both teams weren't great, and Liverpool scored the only goal that won the game.
The only bright spot is both Arsenal and Spurs still have to win today. And Spurs play Chelsea next week, so something has to give if we beat Burnley Tomorrow. And United are away at an improving West Ham. Think Liverpool are at Sunderlad. They should win that. Think Arsenal are at Bournemouth?
Balls pumped into our box at every occasion. Willy needs to play in this game. The leagues smallest keeper got found out against Victimpool and was scared to catch the ball!!!!!
We should beat Burnley because we have quality players to come in from the bench.
