Doku. He's on fire at the moment. Keep it up Jezza.
Not many of our own players have got two goals and an assist in a game in the last 12 months. Takes some doing that haha
genuine question, what's makes you think it's a lack of leadership? Imo Dias, Haaland and Foden are leaders. There was a lack of energy and leadership at some points in the game mate. They still look like a new team coming to terms with one another. Great potential but a lot of work to do before we are back to our very best.
I was talking specifically about the game yesterday and contrasting it to the United game. When we went level yesterday I felt some shoulders dropped. Our press was lacking, Erling got really grumpy with his midfield. The contrast in energy and team spirit was, to me, stark. I felt it needed someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck. Thankfully Doku continued to lead by example. Young O’Reilly carried the ball at pace a couple of times which lifted the team. The second and third helped for sure.genuine question, what's makes you think it's a lack of leadership? Imo Dias, Haaland and Foden are leaders.
Watching the highlights the BBC were rooting for Burnley and we were pants according to them. Doku was involved in everything and Haaland took his goals superbly
