Burnley - Post Match Thread

3pts but it'd be nice to play well once in a while

Give over ffs.

Do you honestly believe we are sat were we are in both the league and Europe without playing well or lost just 2 games by being poor?

So glad we won but looking at the stats shows that we had 21 shots of which only 5 were on target whereas Burnley had only 10 shots to also get 5 on target.
I wonder why our shots continue to miss the target so often ?

Thought yaya and kolorov good today. Clichy was a tad worrying. But great management from pep. It was always going to be hard fighting and scruffy and so fernando and yaya great choices. We fought and we won.

It's true though, we scraped it against West Brom, and there's some team from Catalonia that we were fucking dreadful against.

We have had a lot more poor performances than great, I'm delighted with the 3pts, but let's not kid ourselves , we're not fluid or great to watch .

Why Why Why

Why do we have to hang on always in the last 15minutes. Why can we not finish teams off. Why do we keep giving the ball away at the end of the match inviting the opposition to level the score. Why am I still watching through my fingers the last 5 minutes of every match. Are my expectations to high or is this how other fans feel? PS Watching City since 1968 - not a glory hunter.

Three points was all that mattered today. Glad I went as it sounds like I might have thrown the TV out of the window listening to Savage/Francis.

Fernando MOTM for me today, nice tidy game, broke their play up on numerous occasions and never put a pass astray.

Alarming lack of heading ability in the team that needs addressing. Don't think we won one aerial batter all day.

Next week v Chelsea will be the true test of where we are.
