Sacking Dyche against the advice of just about everyone suggests to me that these new owners are significantly more ambitious than the old ones. They've even given up on their dream of being the UK's only monoracial football club.

I hope Kompany does get the job. I want to see how he fares in the Premier League and (if he does well) he could potentially succeed Pep one day. Also, we could send a few loan players to Burnley.

Vinnie apparently on the shortlist for the gig at Turf Moor. Part of me thinks it could be a smart move for him to accept it, if offered. Not "massive" expectations there, just keeping them in the PL would be enough for them, I'm guessing. But another part of me thinks that his first job in England being at a PL club (even a relatively small one like Burnley), that's a fairly high level to be entering at.
