Congratulations to Vinnie.
The jury is still out on the US owners. A leveraged buy out, moving the club from debt free status to a substantial debt.
I dont think the owners have shown their intentions clearly yet. Signings will now be necessary to hold their own in the Prem, so the budget set for next year will tell us how seriously to take them.

If he's got any sense, he should stay put for at least one more year. Even going to a, for instance, Brentford or a L***s is a huge step up from the Championship. He's still pretty new to management in England. He'll have plenty of time to manage at "big" clubs.

Yes, it's one thing to bring a good team up from the Championship. It takes different skills to keep them in the PL, when they're on a limited budget. He's got the second half of a project to fulfil. If he stabilises Burnley's place in the PL, I think a big club will come for him.
Sooner or later, I want him here in some capacity.

Witness Lampard. He was excellent at Derby, but couldn't hack it at Everton and Chelsea. I find it hard to believe that they've gone back to him to "mind the house"

To be honest I am surprised at how well Vinny has done at Burnley. I feared for him when he took the job at a club with a basic playing style and a significant racist element amongst it's fan base. My concerns deepened when he appointed Craig Bellamy as his assistant as the latter did not seem to be the most cerebral and balanced individual.

His achievement in rejigging the squad and getting them playing attractive, attacking football is impressive and getting promoted with seven games left to play is awesome.

The Premier League will be a different challenge and I am looking forward to how Vinny and Burnley cope with it. Their early promotion means that they have the luxury of being able to take their time planning for next season.

Well done Vinny - I am very glad to be wrong!

Keep the fans "onside" , the onlt thing they are missing is FKW John Terry on the bench with Frankie.
