Might become the first footballer to have a statue in two parts of the country?

We all know Vinny is a born leader and born winner. He’s also highly experienced and has no doubt pinched a few bits from Pep / Mancini / Pellers.

Quite the mix so absolutely no surprise he’s smashed the job to bits.

I fancy Burnley to “do a Brentford” now and transition to a well established mid table premier league club if the big man stays in the role.

Delighted for Kompany the man - what a guy who deserves everything.

When discussing the ‘achievement’ though, you have to acknowledge that at a time when most Chanpionship clubs are surviving on free transfers and loans, they spent the thick end of £50m this year, outspending most of their promotion & playoff rivals by a factor of 10x, just in transfer fees, let alone wages…

As said, the work starts now, but I think he will comfortably keep them up next season, playing some good football along the way.

they need a lot more quality, if they keep that squad and play as they do they will take a few heavy beatings ,confidence will be hit and the owner will panic and sack vinny, fucking vinny's career up, if he doesn't get a big wedge to spend in the summer if i was him id look for another club.

Fantastic Vinny and an important one for City.

We need a manager who can get the results out of having the best squad in a division.

Next season whilst in the PL will not be City’s test of Vinny, although obviously there will be some conclusions that can be drawn.

Expect them to start well, but fall down after that especially as confidence will go with a run of defeats.

Never that confident of the ones who come up and play good football staying up. I think Burnley may well do it but I wouldn’t be surprised either way.
