Didnt look like a team desperate to fight for the club. Whether MP stays or goes, thats not acceptable.

Mancini got all the blame last time. Pellegrini will get all the blame this time. Some other poor sod will get all the blame in two years time.

Maybe we've got to start looking elsewhere.

Totally agree with this. No matter how you try and put this all on Pellegrini what I just watched from our players was a disgrace. No system or lack of motivation etc can excuse the way they played. Pellegrini may go just like Mancini but I feel more let down by the players, they showed nothing out there today.

+1

I agree . And if it is a problem of players downing tools then we need to appoint a youngish manager who will be here for the long haul who will mould a team, rather than just soothing egos, to to play with real energy and commitment. The problem of course is getting the right man.

At least Dzeko had a good game. He's on fire.

I hope Burnley go down.

That's funny as

I take no pleasure in saying it, I'm not desperate to see him go by any means but something is very wrong at the moment and I'm getting very concerned about us even staying in the top 4. I suspect it needs a change just to give us a bit of impetus to not finish this season catastrophically. It wouldn't surprise me if vieira gets a go till the end of the season if things go as expected on Wednesday.

What great things have they done to deserve untouchable status?
Well I don't think you'll find many better financial improvements in the history of football, from £196M debt to profit in 5 years. I think the Sheik probably knows better than you.

How either of them can be held responsible for a 1-0 defeat at Burnley escapes me, and this is a post match thread.

We haven't made a profit yet. We've reduced the losses significantly but I question how much that actually has to do with either of them.

Txiki's record in the transfer market for us has been terrible.

If it wasn't for the new BT deal and new Sky deals making profits would be years off, if we continue to keep spending big on pathetic wank players then we will be treading water for the foreseeable future.

Sick of hearing about how the sun shines out of the arse of fucking Cheech and Chong the Spanish duo when in reality it's not all that fucking great what they have done.

Great we have new noodle sponsors and Soriano has his PowerPoint presentations about Great Football, Playing high up the pitch and pressing attractive football.

Perhaps he should tell fucking Chong to buy players who can press.

Could put us back a few seasons if we drop out of top four, see how good they are then.

You have to give credit to Burnley. They were outstanding were more desperate to get the points than we were. The difference in attitude and what they're picking up in wages are worlds apart. Thats the sad part.

really dont think our supporters are arrogant enough to think we should win the title every season , we are not rags , but the thing that hurts most , and cuts like a knife , is the players and management collectively not going down with a fight .They played with no pride in the shirt , on tonights performance top four is going to be a big ask , spuds , dippers and the arse are all playing better than us , Thursday nights channel 4 anyone ?

I think he is a dead man walking and the players know it, hence our spineless performance.
Ancelloti will be our mgr next season, we need someone to take over know as interim, prob Viera, to protect top 4.

Poor performance and poor fans I'm afraid. At the game and the amount of jeering and booing was a joke worst I've ever seen City fans. Singing for Mancini? Booing the Champions?

JOKE

WHY shouldnt they boo??? they have paid good money to travel and watch that shit they have every right to boo, fans as always are brilliant they travel they support and they love but if you serve up shit you should expect them same fans to fucking boo!!! as for singing for mancini why shouldnt they, he gave a shit about results!!

Haha rag all day long.

Tough to take losing to Burnley the fact we have lost 4 points to them this season is unacceptable but the worst thing is that its the least they deserve after the 2 games

I'm not sure sacking Pellegrini is the right thing to do though I really don't think every time we have a so so season we get a new manager in. I do think though there are to many players lacking the drive and ambition to get up for games like these as results have shown this season Stoke Burnley twice Hull etc and a clear out in the summer needs to take place to refresh the squad
