That figure if correct is a staggering amount more than 1km per player on average! Sums the whole performance up, does anyone have the individual stats? Most midfielders should be covering 10km + per game...Damanino said:Opta:

Just seen that Boyd covered 13.3km in the game, I wonder who covered the most for us?

That figure could be misleading. IIRC we had the majority of the possession and, therefore, I would expect the opposition to be running more.

You mean like when Bayern had more possession than us and covered more ground? We should also be running off the ball and moving around and even taking into account the possession stats the difference of over 1km per player is huge, it just shouldn't be happening.
