Burton (a) pre-match thread

It's an interesting problem this. Which is the more competitive game and better experience for the U21's?
Sunderland are a better side than Burton. There will be a bigger crowd at Sunderland and they are trying to win the competition.
Burton have probably written off the league cup and may even rest some players but it's a first team fixture.
Maybe let the U21's play the Sunderland game and take some youth players to Burton?

Never thought I would be booking train and hotel before a second leg has been played, but mine are also booked. Would never stop being excited about City being in a final!!!! :)
 
Booked before the 1st leg. If we didn't make it I would have watched the Everton game then had a relaxing Sunday night in exotic Cricklewood ;-)

Re the trains don't worry, I am sure that you get a refund (minus £5 admin fee) for unused tickets so you should be covered. I hope you have got free cancelation for the hotel though.
 
Big game this. Play the full strength ram to get the game won early and the tie put to bed then rest Aguero Dinho et al for the last twenty.
 
If they get an early six or seven goals it could be game on.

Another Jesus hat trick, at least, I reckon.

Someone told me that the youth team are playing in the Checkatrade trophy on Tuesday night - seem to remember this happening before and Pep said he wouldn’t ask the kids to play twice in 24 hours - apparently the rules are that PL clubs must play their U21 team against the 1st or 2nd team of Walsall/ Shrewsbury etc - so our youngsters risk a bad injury playing against pub standard defenders - so much for those who say the kids never get a chance in games like the semi at Burton on Wednesday - could we play the women’s team against Burton ?
