Burton Albion (a) Post Match Thread

Tip of the hat to Fabian Delph for putting in the worst individual performance I can recall seeing for City in a while.
Won't have to see much more of him now Mendy is back anyway.

Decent showings from Garcia, Sandler and Poveda.
Zinchenko, Delph and Mahrez disappointing again (Hinchcliffe must have been pissed awarding Mahrez MotM) and distinctly underwhelmed by Foden as well.
Jesus looked sharp when he came on and Danilo played with a bit of intensity.

Other than that, it was all a bit inconsequential and shite on a difficult pitch. Did well not to pick up any knocks

I still get uneasy whenever Delph is in the midfield. A lot of slips out there today though. Garcia is class. Sandler looks talented and physical, I'm eager to see how he develops. Poveda's turn towards the end of the game was beautiful but he needs to improve his physicality. Nmecha, I think, can be a special player. Muric will be a top keeper in his prime.

Just pleased no serious injuries on that pitch in that weather.

Garcia stand out for me along with all the blues who travelled down.

VAR? What is the point of it? Seriously?

Another League Cup final! Well done, everyone. Fourth final in six seasons.

Subbing on Jesus instead of Bolton when we’re leading with 10 goals on aggregate is fucking disgraceful. Gutted for Bolton and Richards

Disgraceful lol.

It’s professional football, not some kickabout down the park.
