not the most convenient venue for me (living near Fairfield Hospital) - P&W would probably be closer?

It seems a good venue to me, I agree with what was mentioned earlier about being better than having it in Bury where it's so near Whitefield/Prestwich branch.
Would have been better though if in one of boozers/social clubs/cricket club in Rammy but that would have been for purely selfish reasons! ;-)

Me and a few mates are in the same boat. Both Heywood OSC and Rochdale OSC are much nearer to us.

same as for me and about 10 others I know but wont be so bad if transport to matches pick up and drop of more central to town centre otherwise Heywood osc is far more handier.

The Heywood pub (where the branch is based) is located in the centre of heywood, living on the other side of bury let's say fairfield is quicker to get there but we're talking minutes.
I play football in Heywood near this pub, my Nan also lives in Heywood and it takes me from Tottington (the other side of bury) around 10-15mins to get there.
I could argue that I could become a member of this place, but I felt Bury North needed it's own SC, just like Heywood did when it could of gone to Rochdale's SC.
