I went to half a dozen macc games last season with my lad. Kids free. Lots of kids clubs got a block of tickets free.

This season following promotion i think its £2 now …

4500 there on saturday (albiet for a derbt v leek) but generally a good 4k there for 8th tier football. Got the kids hooked in.

Think our junior blues in the 70s, probably saved us support wise as a club in the 80s

Yep, it's the hard yards the smaller clubs have to put in with schools and kids to get rewarded in the long term.
There can be life for the smaller clubs in the lower leagues, if the clubs are being run proper and not used to make a fast buck and sell assets or take loans on future season ticket sales,

Also in the north-west of England, I would like the bigger clubs like city and united to loan youth players or EDS under 23 players to clubs like Oldham Bury Rochdale, So links can be made between club fans who would go and watch them play

Not shirts, it was stuff linked to Birthdays (pencil cases and tat with Fred The Red on). Birthdays were Bury sponsors and sold that stuff in all their stores, and they were running the Bury souvenir shop at the time.

Brian Robson, owned birthdays or had share in it

The illegal streaming seems to have some substance to it if they showed our game with Everton. Even if they did have a licence to show games, i dont see how they could get around the 3pm blackout law....View attachment 65722

City have shown Saturday 3pm away games live inside the ground. So it’s possible they had permission off the relevant authorities.
