BWSL 2022/23 Aston VIlla vs Manchester City

Shit happens, but it's how you respond. Worst thing for me about today (and there were a few) is that after going 4-3 down we created nothing and Villa looked more likely to score. Really disappointing.

It's not all on Taylor, he did t misplace the passes and play like shit in goal. But his subs were a bit odd and we lost all shape when chasing the game. Poor.

Hard to think of a more disappointing performance against a team outside of the obvious three - Chelsea, Arsenal, Rags - in our history. There is absolutely no way that Aston Villa will score 4 goals (yes 4 goals) against those three.
We’ve handed a 3 point advantage away immediately. Live on BBC!!
4 previous games v them we won all 4 with 17-0 scoreline.
This team has regressed so badly and will be no where near top 3 under Taylor. Should have replaced him in the summer but owners dont seem bothered with the WSL.
Playing out from the back is fine when you have the players to do it like our mens team but this team looked like they had never played the game before. God knows what he does in training

Think it would have been a totally different outcome if he'd have started with Deyna instead of Bunny, also Raso should have started.

Threadbare in central midfield and no decent striker to hold the ball up and finish. Feel a bit sad for the likes of Hemp having to watch good players depart and the team disintegrate around her. The whole set up seems, at best, very complacent.
