Bye Bye Tevez, your number is up.

Re: Bye Bye Tevez, you're number is up.

As someone who has openly urged Tévez to leave, I have also slowly been noticing that his game, over the last 8-10 pre-injury, has become what I've wanted from him, all along; the ability to show he's a team player. The FA Cup, where I admit I was at my most dubious about his involvement, was probably his best, for us, in terms of playing for the team.

I couldn't fault him and don't mind him staying if he continues to improve, this way.

If he doesn't stay... Meh, move on!

Re: Bye Bye Tevez, you're number is up.

I'd like him to stay. We need players of his calibre (World Class) if we to compete next season. He offers something different to our other strikers and he loves the club.

Get him to bring his wife and kids over and settle them in England.

Who would we get to replace him?

Re: Bye Bye Tevez, you're number is up.

I a'int in that so called majority that want him to leave either best forward we've had at the club for many a year, hell of a loss if we lose him, just back from injury Saturday had a great game think he really wants to stay and all just family problems hope he can get them sorted cos he's the player we need next season for champs league.

Whoah whoah whoah whoah whoah

There's three things he loves.

Himself.

His family.

And himself again.

That's just the problem Bob ...... they don't want to live here ....... his ex partner wants the kids bringing up in Argentina where they can be close to the rest of the family.

None of them , including Tevez , have got any intention of learning english.

Re: Bye Bye Tevez, you're number is up.

Real shame that his agent K.J. holds such an influence over him.

He was really important for us earlier in the season, whilst Silva and Yaya were bedding in.

Apparently Mancini has given him 2 weeks to come to a decision. Hope he stays as he's a quality player. However he shouldn't be given any preferential treatment (Like missing the SF to be in Milan).

So he will have the same problems wherever he goes, so why not stay and finish the job he was bought to do? It's all media talk anyway, Mancini has said he wants him to stay and Tevez is happy. Ish.

I think we will get another season out of him.

And Spiros...

He came to us when others didn't want to. He has led our front line superbly well for the last two seasons. I would expect, as a professional footballer, that he does put his own interests first.
I don't want him to leave for the reasons i posted above. Name another who plays in his style and who is a proven premiership player of world class ability.

That's fair enough, as well. But isn't the fact that she'll accept a Spanish speaking country an option? So, move them to Spain, let Tévez go see them on certain days. It's an hour's, or so, flight.

What's the problem??

Got no problem with any striker being selfish-anyone with the balls to shoot on sight is fine by me..although i do understand the OP comment that the BALANCE of our attacking play/options looks better when tevez is not playing.

You would think a move to a Spain would solve the problem , and yet Tevez appears to favour Italy if we're to believe what we've read .... which doesn't really solve the problem at all if it's mainly for the sake of his family.

From what i've read , now that she's returned home , his ex reckons she has no intention of leaving Argentina again , and it seems to me that she's not overly keen on lettin' the kids leave it for long either ..... that's probably why we just saw them for two or three games earlier this season .
