maybe he's like most south america players and love playing for they home club

yes did well in spain but the premeirship is harder than la liga and lot faster than most league but like most on here why JO over him
maybe the price tag on JO had something to do with it but Caicedo was young
and the loan was right for him and also i dont think mancini had much say on selling him with the loan and a veiw to buy

i seem to remembera night in the uefa cup v hamburg he ran the show that night a look class

Always liked Big Phil, still think he would be a great 4th striker here. Even when he was here first time he had a decent goalscoring record and that was with a team that finished 10th and were really average.

I'd be more than happy for Caicedo to come back and be a squad player, whether he would accept that I don't know, but he's a young, powerful lad and with the chances we'll create for our strikers I'm sure he'd pick up a fair few goals. Like I say, he might prefer first team football though.

We sold him for 800000 mate, un fucking real the lad had loads of raw talent and we kept Crocky and Jo who cost us 40 million, Phil cost 5 and i bet within 2 years he will be at a big club in Europe, major monumental bollock dropped here

I know what you mean mate, so many gone out on loan in last few seasons its hard to keep up. Some paper last week had Garrido still with us, but hey, papers easily get things wrong (-;. bit gutted its not here he looks like he could be a prolific goal scorer he's only 22 and was Levantes best goal scorer last season and apparently no-one for Levante has ever had such a good goal to game ratio in a season as Caicedo had.

Makes you wonder how Jo keeps surviving yet hot prospects like Caicedo fall down the pecking order.

Ricster i know your a expert in younger players and the works... Do you think big Phil will play for a big club one day? or he had only lucky season?

Its hard to say to be honest as i haven't kept an eye on Caicedo's progress when he went on loan. My comment above though was an indication to how some players career can stall a bit around that 20yr old mark, like what happened with Micah, and look at the way Micah finished the season.

I think it might be the same with Felipe. Obviously i hope im wrong though.

Yep i've seen all the reports in the 'news' outlets that we have shot ourselves in the foot by letting him go for a pre agreed pittance but where is the 'official' confirmation?

I've seen nothing on the OS,have i missed it?
