Calling All MCFC Supporters Branches

They are Manchester and surrounding areas and have formed the clubs first Muslim based supporters club.

The support and turnout last night was fantastic.

Is that the first Supporters club based on Religious beliefs?

Most SC's are geographically based and I know we have the long-established Canal Street blues that represent both an area and the LBGTQ+ community as well as familes, friends and allies. I'd like to think that purely my love of City would be enough anywhere in the world to join a SC.

I always thought that as a fanbase we were well ahead of the curve going back to the 60's/70's with a truly mixed support that embraced all colours and religions, not sure how to feel about a SC that could restrict membership based on religion alone.

Enjoyable evening talking City & match shirts with the Warrington Blues MCFC supporters branch tonight who certainly knew their stuff on the City quiz teasers.

Now booking for January & February 2024 dates via mmmac@hotmail.co.uk

Great evening Mark. It was quite an eye-opener hearing how the match-worn shirt market has exploded - eye-watering sums. Delighted with the Lescott shirt. I'll post a photo once I've had it framed.

I found there is a Cambridge club but I cannot register. It says no new members considered until July which seems odd. Anyone know if this seems correct please?
Each branch can set it's own deadline dates mate. You tend to get interest when we look like getting to a final or a big game on the horizon. I used to close around this time of year as well to be honest. It was nothing personal, you have to look after established members first and not enough tickets to go around.

Fair enough thankyou.

There’s a bit of a back story to this one but I know you’d be welcome as an ‘active’ member once registrations open again.
The membership is spread across a fairly wide area around Cambridgeshire so actually in the city itself are in the minority but if you are in town and fancy meeting up to watch a game, then give me a shout and I’ll mobilise a select bunch!
