Calling All MCFC Supporters Branches

There’s a bit of a back story to this one but I know you’d be welcome as an ‘active’ member once registrations open again.
The membership is spread across a fairly wide area around Cambridgeshire so actually in the city itself are in the minority but if you are in town and fancy meeting up to watch a game, then give me a shout and I’ll mobilise a select bunch!
That is very good of you. Mainly my son and I, but rest of family too.
We will also register when able.
We are about 10 miles south of Cambridge.

You might have already said it somewhere, but what is the oldest shirt in your collection?

Here’s the oldest shirt in the collection which turns 98 years old this April.

George Hicks match worn FA Cup final shirt v Bolton on 24th April 1926, complete Wembley mud stains !!

I would love to re-unite the shirt with the original coat of arms badge that has been carefully removed at some stage, who knows could well be stored away somewhere !!

Brilliant, hope you can find the badge.

Thank you to Stuart & Stephen and all the Astley & Tyldesley MCFC branch members for having me tonight and supporting the books so well with a brilliant set of blues talking all things City and match shirts.

Added bonus of City legend David White popping in and always a pleasure to see King of the Kippax legends Dave & Sue Wallace.

Great evening at the MCFC Bolton Branch last night with the books and quiz supported so well meeting yet another set of top blues.

Please feel free to direct message if you are interested in having the quiz and shirt talk attend a branch meeting.

Next stop Bath & Wiltshire Blues.

MCFC match worn shirts and book tour is back up and running with spaces available during November and December 20025.

I’d love to visit your branch to host an evening of all things City — including a fun quiz, a talk about my personal connection to the club (I’m related to former City defender Mick McCarthy), and stories from my years of collecting.

I’ll also bring along some of my shirts for members to see up close, and copies of my books will be available for anyone interested to purchase on the night.

Please feel free to DM, or email mmmac@hotmail.co.uk to register interest.
