When Sunderland’s wheels come off, they do so in spectacular fashion.
Trafford has been playing really well, between him and Bazuna we are well set for Ederson's replacement if they have not been sold in the meantime. Not a great first half so far,he has looked a bit shakey and slow to react, and also a tad cumbersome. He's a big powerful lad,but he just has to be careful his continued growth doesn't impact his mobility.
Sunderland are 2 down and Bolton are playing the much better football. The 1st goal came from an Edersonesque kick, from our boy Trafford, that bounced once, over Doyles head, and the striker lobbed it over an advancing keeper.
The 2nd was from a low cross that Doyle couldn't prevent.
Injured? Or frozen out for no reason? If I added it up correctly, CD's only played 5 mins over the last 8 Sunderland matches. doghouse
He's missed being in the squad a coupla times, but usually he's listed as a sub so don't think its an injury. New mgr and a new veteran defender brought in. Promotion battle - he's only young and his game was showing cracks, pressure? Sunderland twitter really who grew to hate him around mid-Feb. Not sure his rep has recovered with them since. First time I've peeked in since around Feb, so not quite sure about the specifics.Injured? Or frozen out for no reason?
Yep and fan’s opinions have gone from “future England captain 100%” to “never felt he was that good anyway, always looked a lot better playing alongside ___ and was never a convincing defender”A teenage loan player will always be the first scapegoat when the team’s collective form goes to shit
He will go on to have a much better career than anyone currently in Sunderland’s squadYep and fan’s opinions have gone from “future England captain 100%” to “never felt he was that good anyway, always looked a lot better playing alongside ___ and was never a convincing defender”
