What will be easy to find though, will be graphs of inflation running higher than wage level rises, declining disposable income, increased references to the costs of living crisis etc. So, what is your argument exactly. That people aren't really struggling to make ends meet? That it isn't a political concern?BimboBob said:Can we have a chart for the following as well please.
Number of food banks over the years.
Number of people aware that there are such things as "food banks" year on year as well.
Where in that report does it say Cameron called the police? As Al Murray would say...not news.
I didn't say Cameron, I said his constituency office. Why do the tories get to ignore this issue, get away with it and abuse police time stifling democracy?
My argument is that a graph can prove anything. What if there were only 30 food banks 5 years ago and very few people had heard of them?
Suddenly they are in the news and whoooosh...thousands pop in, hundreds more open up and the graph looks brilliant.
And yes, I know the cost of living has gone up the same as I know that more and more people are finding it difficult to make ends meet. What do you expect? We were and still are a skint country. In debt. Due to politicians from all sides. And banks. It's not just one side that has fucked us over royally but all of them. Did Brown come down hard on the banks? Did he fuck as he quickly realised what side of the bread was buttered. Cameron and Clegg are of the same ilk. They all are.
This is not a Labour did this or Conservatives did that thing anymore. They all fucked it up and show little signs of wanting to right the wrongs.
