Seriously mate - you'd get your point across much better if you spaced your words out a bit more.

Only trying to help.

Also the Whigs were the predecessors of the Liberal Party, not the Conservatives.[/quote
notassimpleasthatastherewasquiteabitofjockeyingforpositionandpower but thanks for the tip anyway, on a 28inch monitor it seems reasonable at this end

Cameron is protecting the financial institutions in London,not the British public interest,tories just making sure they can keep the ignorant british blob in their place.He,s put tory party interest in front of national interest.

Financial services accounted for a £35bn trade surplus last year — one of the few sectors that generated a surplus, as well almost 2 million jobs and it contributed £54bn in taxes. But yeah lets hand it over to the EU

Yes I got my share. It's my public service pension which taxes pay for. Obviously living abroad I didn't use the national health service did you?

Do any of the following apply to you;

You pay taxes
You receive tax credits
You receive benefits
You are employed by the public sector
You use the public sector

That'll do for starters. The removal of £54bn in the direct tax take will impact any of the above in some way or do you struggle with the concept of a holistic economy?

Wonder how the Germans would have voted if it was an extra tax on, oh I don't know say car exports, being proposed.

As a person of the left much it said resonated with me, but it doesnt alter the fact i am pro european.

Hopefully one day the European left can combine and come to rescue the EU and its faltering economies

maggies children seem cocksure that cameron played a blinder. Although based on wish and guess it seems the future is now much brighter,and it is only a matter of time before a referendum to complete the job and return to a splendid isolation.Apparently the EU need us more than we need them,as we have a voracious appetite for their goods( sausages maybe or onions) whilst we only depend on them for gas (therefore electricity) but even should they retaliate and double the tariff we can just put the price to customers up,problem solved.From it's inception the brits have been a disruptive member of the EU,probably less welcome now than ever before, retaliation cannot be ruled out,but our superior skills will easily cope,after all there is only 26 countries looking for pay-back.Trouble is,much as i would love to believe that the tories have the best interest of the country at heart and not just their pay-masters in the "city",nothing in their history,from the whigs to present day suggests they have.

Oh you. I lol'd at EDF or some such outfit would stick up retail prices just to teach the English a lesson, I noticed some thought you were being serious!
