About 15 years ago when my lad was young he talked us into going camping in Whitby
Got there and it pissed down , thought it was going to be a disaster but surprisingly heating the rain on the tent was relaxing knowing you arf snug and dry
What I hated was about 430 am the sun made the tent daylight inside and surprisingly very hot

How did your tent heat the rain.....new technology ?

Just one tip about wild camping. If you want to go up mountains you need the right gear. I find third is best.
