Why would Cook bother going to Milan if Kaka has said via thrid parties / agents "I'm not going to City" or "I want to stay at Milan". I know the official route but there is no way City just flew to Milan with a bag of cash and no plan. We are not that daft these days (are we ?)

Something stinks with the latest statement from Kaka. Sounds like he doesn't want sh1t if he goes so is putting decision on club. Thus club will hold out for enormous offer.

My guess is the media have assumed we're paying £100m. I'd say we've offered less, but Milan are pushing for max. If we agree a big fee, then they can come out and say it was too good. Kaka can jump on that wagon saying it will 'save' the club etc

Just a real shame the press have hold of it as now the world can't wait to see us fook up!!! Hopefully ADUG will do everything to not lose face.

I thought the same, and the trip to Italy was pretty much confirmation that Kaka had given us the nod.

Do we know when this statement from Kaka was actualy made? We know its arose in the last hour or so but we dont know when he actually said the words. Considering it was told to a tv station, where is the clip of it?

It could have been this morning, before any offer was made.

This quote isn't City specific. How do we now this isn't something from 6 months ago? It seems strange that he has turned us down over a website article yet his agent has said that if a fee is agreed then Kaka is open to contract negotiations.
