Can the wounded animal beat PSG?

He's fooling us all, it's his version of rope-a-dope! The Engineer has planned it all along!

City become rich club in 2008

PSG become rich club in 2011

We should be better than them since the take over happened 3 years before PSG's and we play in better league.
PSG bought better than we did. And they didn't seem to worry about FFP.

After Mancini won the title he clamored for more players. He wasn't backed though. Instead, we got a mixed bag of sign-ons.

I remember at the time that Milan was under duress and that they were selling Ibra and Silva (Thiago, not David, LOL) ... and Mancini visited Milan.

We fucked up big time, IMO. Should have signed both Ibra and Silva, backing Mancini; instead we signed Rodwell, Wright, Sinclair, Maicon, Nastasic and Garcia. What a fucking disaster!

That year in particular sealed it in faror of PSG.

Though Ibra is lazy, controversial, and is not at all the best of team players... he fucking does want to win and takes no quarter from teammates who under perform. Plus, he wins the league and scores the most goals for any league he's in. Some hate Ibra... I think he's Ibra-cadabra. Would have won the Ballon D'or except that Messi and Ronaldo just happened to be playing at the same time.

If you hate Ibra and completely disagree with my assessment of him... fair enough; we could have bought Thiago Silva and RvP. Maybe RvP would have been the better signing assuming of course that the Rags wouldn't sign Ibra.

For me 2012-2013 is where we screwed up big time.

We're a wounded animal in the sense of a small jack russell puppy that has been set alight by a gang of teenagers not a tiger.

Possible team v psg by time it comes round
Willy, zaba, ottamendi, Mangala, clichy
Fernandinho, yaya
kdb silva nasri
Sergio
Very attacking I know, but fuck it, we can't defend so let's go for away goals.
We certainly have a CHANCE with that line up in my opinion
Glad you're not in charge. Yaya in a 2 against PSG and Nasri ineligible.

Some of our best recent performances have been away int he Champions League. I think we'll shock a few people and only lose 3-0.

I can't see why not. PSG have taken their foot off the gas now they've won the league and it's hard to get going again once you do that. Monaco beat them the other day and they are a bang average side.

I'm an Otamendi sympathiser but him vs Ibrahimovic is a huge mismatch. Ibra is 6'5 and Otamendi must of been on his tip toes when measured as everywhere says he's 6ft but i'd say he's 5'10 at best? Also Ibra thrives on bullying defenders and seeing as Otamendi goes down if wind changes direction we should be in for a treat.
