Can we make 7th place

I reckon we will finish 7th, we have a load of winnable home games to come, the top 6 are miles ahead of the rest.
To get anywhere near the top 6 next season we have to be capable of a 7th place finish this season?!!?
How the hell can we ever make the jump into the top 4 if we feel 7th is out of reach now, look at the players we have for christs sake. In the summer if we look to bring in another 4 or 5 that will hold us up too, we need 2 top drawer players at the most, 2 top center halfs and a bit of patience, if we bring in 4 or 5 that is another overhaul and we need that like a hole in the head, far too many new faces already lets see what this lot can achieve before we overhaul again.
 
So far we have a points average of 1.23 points per match. If we keep that avergae throughout the season we end up on 47 points. Last season that would have meant 11th in the table.
 
We did this three weeks ago. Since then we have played three matches and gained four points. I predicted six points.

Can't see us getting in the top 7; not with our away form. Indeed, if you look at our home form (5 defeats), it's amazing that we are even in 10th spot. Unless we can pick up wins at Wet Spam, Spuds and the blue dippers and maybe a draw at the Arse (can't see us getting anything at either Chelsea or the vermin), 7th will be very hard to achieve.
 
i think when we get shaun(ROIGHT!)phillips back things will look a little better. besides whats it matter anyways. if we dont get into europe and dont get relegated its all meaningless until next season. im more concerned with going balls to the vagina walls with our uefa cup run.
 
Optimistically - We could, we'll probably be more or less looking at losses away to Chelsea, Arsenal and the maybe the Rags (but it's the derby so who knows)
We should win most of our remaining home games
But our away record might let us down, but I have a good feeling about West Ham game, so maybe a run will start.
Realistically - We might not win away again away this season.
But we should still be looking at a lot of home wins really.

And I think we do qualify for the UEFA Cup if we win it.
Verdict - 7th place IS possible
My Prediction - 8th by like a point off. A repeat of 05/06 maybe.
