Can we please stop singing it now?

The point of the post was just asking if we could stop singing it not you must stop singing it.

As some one has pointed out yes city fans are known for their humor, but when people pipe up saying while sing what we want then fine you can but no one is.

At the Liverpool game at home the semi i got home and watched the match again like i always do and it showed the lights going off and the 2 commentators said "oh hang on while will listen to this, then what happens? all you can hear is the Liverpool fans singing then they said with a little snide laugh arh lets move away from this as fast as possible.

I'm not a massive singer i like to watch the football and get into it i'm one of them people who can't multi task.

Put it seems we only really get going when we are ahead or making a good come back not when it's 0-0 and it's tense.

The best thing i have seen and i thought it was better than the hamburg game was the derby fa cup game the other week the whole place was stood up even the north stand it was the best feeling in the world and the players caught on to it as well.


we can do better but this is only my opinion and doesn't need to get people worked up it's only an op ion.

Perhaps people get worked up because this thread pops up every couple of weeks, when some shrinking violet gets all embarrassed about a chant at a football match, in short it's been done to death and then some more, I dare say this will not be the last thread about it.

You you and the rest of the shrinking violets are never going to stop people singing it, a little search of the forum would tell you that most City fans are not really bothered about it, in fact I would say it does not even cross their minds.

In life there are lots of things we don't like, but sometimes you just have to man up and get on with it
