Can we win the title this season?

Only if Pep can correct our weaknesses.

Like:
-finishing big/ easy chances
-defending counters
-defending as a team trough tactical discipline, press together or track back together, not walking around on the other half when you should sprint back to help defenders or to just track opponent midfielders to arrive free to shoot
-we are going to face lot of parked bus tactics, lot of times we looked surprised and clueless under Pellegrini but also sometimes under Pep too. Dont be surprised, higher tempo will be needed, attack from wings, quick, strong fullbacks should help big time.
-home form has to be nearly perfect, we not gonna win 19 home games but we shoud target 50 points out of 57 at least. Last season Chelsea made 51 points, Tottenham made 53 points at home. We had only 40 points. We lost at the Bridge and WHL as well, they won/drew at Etihad.
-So try to beat top4 teams home and maybe away as well a few times...
-GK situation has to be sorted, last season there were times when once chance was 1 goal scored against us thats impossible. If Ederson is not the answer we are fucked.

If we improve most of these things yes we can win the title.

Pep was backed last summer in the transfer window, now again, also he has a full year experience to the PL, if he is really doing detailed analysis of everything, a man if details, he will know our big weaknesses that opponents know as well and they punished them quite frequently last season.

What worries me is the how porous we can be at times, the problem with the one holding midfield role option is that we're so susceptible to the counter attack. The CB issue is huge too, Stones doesn't have what it takes yet for me, Kompany could break down due to injury at any time, and with Kolarov leaving we need a top class option there.

Of course we "can". Will we? If we can sort out the leaky defence and a lack of clinical-ness (is that a word?) in our finishing, then yes; we've got great chance. Let's see how we're doing on New Year's day.

We can win it for sure but we need to be better in both boxes and some players need to show up in the biggest of games not just flat-track bullying the smaller sides.

I look at our squad and I would not change it for another. But I have thought that for the last three years.

The art of diplomacy, old bean. If I say yes; we'll win it (and we don't), I'll look a shitehawk. Conversely, if we we do win it after I say that we wont, again I'll look like a shitehawk. Old Chinese proverb; better to keep your mouth shut and be thought of as a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt. I'm not as daft as I look.

It's a bit early for this thread isn't it? It normally starts when we're 10 points behind in December.

Whilst their are certain individuals in high positions we will never be allowed too, some of the decisions I have seen have been bordering on corruption, the only way is if we smash sides so the game cannot be manipulated
