Can you name the music City came out to 2nd half?

Aj is our very own Ian Curtis..coupled with Richard Ashcroft at the back we're quite the rock n roll team ;-)
AJ is a dead ringer for the lad who played Ian Curtis in the film Transmission.
Carlos and Joleon could pass for members of Slipknot...

There was a poll for it on the City facebook page, and they had a song by someone like Tiny Tempah leading until everyone complained, and they changed it to just Manc bands. And Trasmission won it, class song.

It was worse than that, could hardly hear it, slow, downbeat and justifies the criticism some (including myself) gave it on here as opposed to the Gallagher wankfest that the majority had saying how great it was-utterly awful.

What a fucking tune.

I agree but why did they play that version of bluemoon it was awful

Can anyone explain why they kept cutting it just as the vocal was about to start?

I suspect it may be something to do with copyright? I think they may need some rights before they can play the vocal melody.

Was pleasantly stunned to hear Rock and Roll by The Velvet Underground blaring out at full blast in City Square before the game as well.
Was it a covert guerilla raid on the DJ box by a crack team of commandos from the Kill The Cheese brigade?

Jesus God! That is one of the best songs I've ever heard. Something weird is going on if they are playing Joy Division and the Velvets at games. I'm off down William Hill to find out the odds on them playing Lady Stardust before the Wigan match.

on the subject of music, why were 4 or 5 people walking in line playing musical instuments on the colin bell stand level one concourse, didnt even recognise the tune??

On another note I thought liam gallagher's version of bluemoon was shit. Much prefer the supras version.
