The group is open to all supporters, whether they identify as LGBT or LGBT-Friendly.
Just my luck ! I wanted a moan about feeling excluded. Oh well, I'll have to moan about the MOBO awards instead.....

The responses to this thread make me a bit sick. The "but why do you need to announce it/flaunt it" line we hear a lot about homosexuality these days, and is springing up all over this thread, is just 21st century airbrushed homophobia. You'll all break Into faux-indignation over this of course, you people always do, but I don't care to be honest.

If anyone wants to start a supporters group that's up to them, whatever common ground they share. Good luck to them.

Couldn't agree more.
As per, the usual bigots who would feel more at home in an episode of 'Life On Mars' are upset-by-proxy.
Good.

The friendly bit is more like it. I'm not being pedantic or kicking off for the sake of it but all City Supporter groups are open to everyone providing they're off the same mindset. Not everyone will want to be Blue Alliance as I don't stand or sing at matches (much) but I'm happy for those who do.

Good idea, I can't believe people are moaning about it though. I spose we are all used to moaning though and if we can't moan at football it has to be something else...

I'd like to add also that transgender isn't a sexual orientation.

before i commit to joining John if you wouldn't mind answering a few equal ops questions.

1. How many Bi-sexual single females are in the group.

2. Of those, how many have low self esteem?

3. Of those how many have chronic visual impairment?

Good luck with it pal. :)

Is this club open to non gay members ?

Oh dear. As I said many pages ago, like Canal Street as a whole, I would expect this supporters club to be open to LGBT fans and people who are understanding / sympathetic of LGBT issues.

Or put another way back to you........ is this club open to rabid homophobic Blues? NO! And rightly so.

Sorry sir for not studying the whole thread placing particular importance on your ramblings and musing. I asked a question in a clear precise manner! I would have guessed it wasnt open to rabid homophobic blues somehow, a simple yes or no from the op would have been sufficient

thanks for the best wishes i have absolutely no idea and unless its MCFCofficial requirement that all supporters groups ask and store this data securely i will never be in a position to give you the answer

PS k low self esteem is not a quality I associate with Mancs male female or transgendered those who are i guess support the lot that play in Old Trafford and they are definitely no welcome chronic vision or not

The last time I went for a post match pint on canal street we were refused admission and told no colours. Good luck with it anyway. Are reformed alcoholics allowed? ;0)
