Based on that logic, why don't we have separate supporters groups for every collection of people who feel themselves to be discriminated against?
The onus definitely is on people to integrate. We all come together to support City. Leave your prejudices, sensitivities, proclivities and politics at the door. I don't want to acknowledge gay, straight, bi, fucking tri ans vesite, I shag rabbits, the pope or whatever rights at a football match. I just don't care.
It seems you fucking do actually.

It is hardly a new idea; I was very proud of our club in 2006 when we joined the Diversity Champions scheme, as reported by BBC below :

Manchester City is the first professional club to join the scheme
Manchester City FC has signed up to a scheme to help it attract more gay fans and staff.
The club has paid a four-figure sum to join the Diversity Champions scheme, run by gay rights group Stonewall.
It is the first professional club to join the scheme, which focuses on a range of gay-friendly initiatives.
The club said it wanted to send a welcoming message to gay, lesbian and bisexual supporters, be inclusive and be a progressive employer.
Stonewall chief executive Ben Summerskill described Man City's decision as a "significant step" for English football.
He said: "Manchester City should be congratulated for putting their head above the parapet and moving into the 21st century."
It is mainly about Manchester City wanting to be an exemplary employer

In the next few weeks, the organisation will be looking at specific areas to target and work on with the club.
Mr Summerskill said: "The work can range from looking at recruitment processes to what's already going on in the workplace, to developing marketing strategies.
"It is mainly about Manchester City wanting to be an exemplary employer."
Mr Summerskill said he believed that a more gay-friendly environment would attract more straight fans, as well as homosexuals, because families were more likely to attend an atmosphere free from homophobic abuse.
He added: "If we help to get the club more supporters, more money and better staff, then they will have better training, better facilities, and it is all part of a virtuous circle of success."

Oh dear. As I said many pages ago, like Canal Street as a whole, I would expect this supporters club to be open to LGBT fans and people who are understanding / sympathetic of LGBT issues.
Or put another way back to you........ is this club open to rabid homophobic Blues? NO! And rightly so.

In the interests of integration - I bring my rugby fan Welsh girlfriend to games, I tried to join a Gloucestershire supporters club but the travel pick up was too far away, I watch games with my heterosexual mam and dad and if there was a supporters club for vaguely bored office workers I would probably join that too.
