You could discreetly keep an eye on the exit, from a safe distance and quitely slip away unnoticed if she comes out with a mate?
I'm not sure what you could do if she appears with your mate though?

He really can't start spying on her. That's just not the right thing to do regardless of where she is and who she's with. I'm not sure I could look any partner of mine in the eye again if I'd spied on her when she was out with her Cousin or something. It's all about trust.

It's a difficult one. You don't want to spy but equally you don't want to be taken for a mug and stay with her while she's sneaking round getting porked by another guy either. Her behaviour is pretty suspicious to say the least.
