But I truly believe it works because she knows after my past I have kept my heart to myself, so if at any point she does start messing about, giving so me problems I can and will walk away, I understand that sounds heartless and cold to some but I don't care, it's my way or no way, to be fair to me I told her that from day one and she chose to stay, she a great girl and a top parent but I'd leave in a heartbeat if I had to.
I know it's difficult to take on other people's children and my Mum would never have allowed any new man to become our Parent because of potential problems it could cause. I've seen it and heard it too many times before. Notably one of my best mates through City who gave his entire life elsewhere to move in with a girl who had 3 kids. They broke up in months and he's gutted. Several of us didn't like her so we kept our distance throughout.
