Cannot understand why Micah and johnson are not in England!

Apart from Clichy, three of our full backs will have enjoyed a deserved rest this summer. They put the hardest shifts in, week in week out, so I'm rather pleased Micah has been omitted.
 
I'm going to throw something into the mix...Richards will captain the Olympic team. To me it's the only reason why Pearce would have informed Richards he wasn't going to Euros?
