Hull H
Stoke A

Southampton is the 28th Nov 3pm,I think the Hull game will be on the Tuesday 1st Dec as the Stoke game is a 12:45 kick off the following Saturday.
Just guessing though.
 
Pleased enough with Hull. Winnable tie and, if everything goes right, a clear path to the semi finals. Liverpool would pose the only problem but we can overcome them. Strongly considering attending this. Midweek is becoming awkward at the moment but I've got annual leave to use up.
 
Hull at home should see us through. Two leg semi to follow where we can beat anybody. But it's the semilegs that could hurt us for the number of matches being played. Ah well. Let's get their first before the moaning.
 
Out of all of the competitions I'm least bothered by the League Cup. Having said that, it's a major competition and we've got a decent tie with Hull at home so we can definitely make the semis where the two legs will mean we can beat anyone. Ideally Liverpool either get knocked out of we get them in the semi, as much as it would be good to win it, we don't want it too tough! It caused us a lot of issues when we last won it, with Pellegrini probably not resting enough players for the second leg at West Ham.

If we get to the semis we'll have to manage the squad carefully as there will have been a tough christmas schedule, the FA Cup and the CL fixtures will be on the horizon (should we qualify). A great boost to our confidence if we win it though.
 
After watching the rags penalty shootout (in bed),then us draw Hull in next round,I had to check my phone this morning to make sure I hadn't been dreaming,this kind of thing would have never happened to us 10/15/20 years ago !
 
I wanted Liverpool at home to get them out of the way but can't complain at 'ull.
 
Maybe someone should tell Jamie Carragher that the last two teams who won the League Cup were crowned Champions in May. Just a thought ...
 
Brilliant night. We should smash hull and then the semi is 2 legs and we should do any of them over two legs. Got to be very heavy favourites for this right now
 
The team which is on the top of the league , the only English team with two wins at the CL , scores 5 against Palace and goes to next round. 19year old Kelechi scores 1 and makes 2 assists on his debute as a fisrt team player while the bigger transfer KDB continues scoring. Meanwhile conteders failed to qualify even at the penelties. So what ? Klopp made his first win as a Liverpool manager winning just 1-0 Bournemouth and became the first issue.

Pellegrini does it great this season but you spot on Klopp.
 
Great chance now to progress and try and bag the cup!! No need for arrogance just the players to do what they do best and we have a brilliant chance of getting another trophy!
 
Very happy with this draw. Couldn't have gone any better for us. I saw one or two tweets saying it was a shit draw. Really don't understand why some people wanted an away fixture at Liverpool. I'd much rather take cup success than an away game for the lads to get barnetted. Save that for the semi away game, if you must.
 
Last round all the home teams won except United. The draw looks good for us now but we must watch for complacency.
