Capital One Quarter final draw - Hull (h), 1st Dec (not on TV)

Nearly perfect, would have been better if Everton drew Stoke, but considering Liverpool play the Saints away it's pretty good!

I don't want to sound complacent, but bar a catastrophe we will beat Hull. You'd imagine we'll beat anyone over two legs in the semi's. Then the final is a bit more of a coin toss, but we have recent experience that the other teams left don't have (in terms of winning cups at Wembley). We should win this competition hands down, I'd like to see us focus on it more now that we have such a good chance.

Game Confirmed for the 1st December

2nd and 3rd best teams play each other, we've got another home draw and wouldn't surprise me if both Everton and Stoke get knocked out.

Got to fancy ourselves now

Love the capital one cup. I know it dosnt bring in the money that the FA cup and esp the champs league but it is a nice quick tournament that can spur a team on for the rest of the season. The past few years have proved this.
It's all coming together nicely. I'm very confident that we will win this comp and then go on to regain the title.

Why are we not on TV again for this?

I suspect convenience.
Liverpool are the only team playing on the Sunday, and therefore would play on Wednesday.
City are playing Stoke at lunchtime on the Saturday, and are thus probably quite happy with Tuesday. It might be Stoke's veto as much as City.

The team which is on the top of the league , the only English team with two wins at the CL , scores 5 against Palace and goes to next round. 19year old Kelechi scores 1 and makes 2 assists on his debute as a fisrt team player while the bigger transfer KDB continues scoring. Meanwhile conteders failed to qualify even at the penelties. So what ? Klopp made his first win as a Liverpool manager winning just 1-0 Bournemouth and became the first issue.

Oldfashioned - hipsters - managerlovers athletic journalists from all over the world go f@ck yourselves. You don t represent the game just the hype of it
Pellegrini does it great this season but you spot on Klopp.

Is that you, Socrates ;-)

If we win this Cup again then, like 2014, it will take pressure off and spur us on to win the League. It is a fantastic opportunity. It is also an opportunity to bag some goals. Perhaps we can beat the record we set in 2014 when we scored the most goals in all competitions in the history of football. Perhaps then the media will stop saying that Arsenal play the best football!

Pretty much the ideal draw for us, we have no excuses for not winning this competition. Glad we're not on TV either. Might add a few thousand onto the gate.

This point last season we were averaging 1.93 goals per game. This season at the same point we are averaging 2.53. Really hope we make it to Wembley - can see us playing one of the dippers if we do.

I fancy Southampton or Stoke to get to the final. I think Liverpool will go out next round and Everton could too. Boro are a tidy side as we found out last year.
