Captain Hook (Abu Hamza) Off To USA

I have no love for him or his views either. He is an odious man who does not serve his relegion in anyway shape or form.

But why wasnt he charged for his offences here and why do we bend over backwards to serve Americas sense of justice.

I know im on my own here, but if the USA can get a 65 year old man extradited because he sold batteries to Iraq or get a young autistic kid extradited because he hacked a US website then its wrong.

The USA are not the worlds police and i fucking hope never will be

You are quite entitled to be the lone voice Rascal because we live in a democracy (Ish) and unless you threaten to kill me you just fill your boots and continue debating.

I do agree that in some instances we bend over to the Americans and ask how hard we want it but in this instance the legal system was exhausted...even the European Court Of Human Rights agreed.

The charges against al-Masri include conspiracy in connection with a 1998 kidnapping of 16 Westerners in Yemen, and conspiring with others to establish an Islamic jihad training camp in rural Oregon in 1999. He could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted.

I should think that these charges warrant an extradition to the US because he has used our protection to "Arrange" to facilitate terrorist training in the US (Allegedly)

Yemen also asked for him to be extradited.

Why didnt we allow that?

Does the US have first choice on who it seeks justice from?

What if we, take this serious now its an important point. What if you or I do something that is OK in this country but against the law in the US, think about this now. Should the US be allowed to extradite us?

I can't fucking stand him and he must be laughing his cock off at the way he's bled Britain dry whilst wanting us all to die. And all because of his Human Rights. What human rights did he have in his own country?

THe US asked for him to be extradited before we charged and tried him.

The U.S. want Masri to stand trial for 11 counts relating to the taking of 16 hostages in Yemen in 1998

He should stand trial in Yemen not the USA

I'm thinking how can organising terrorist camps in the US from this country NOT be against the law.

If I were to commit a crime against another country I would expect to face trial in that country, the mad cleric used our protection to try to hurt the US and the coalition.

Extradition is a tool that's been around for years and he's not immune because he claims to be a man of God.

On a lighter note the fella on the left had me in stitches :-)
