We're not talking about news coverage, we can't have any influence over that. There's plenty of opportunities in the politics sub forum to score points if you want to. This wasn't the place for it; you must see that. And the tone of it as well; "waddling out", and "clapping like a seal wanting a fish". I'm no fan of Johnson, or the body politic as a whole. I'd say the same thing if someone said the same thing about Starmer, or Sturgeon. Anyway, if you feel I've handled this badly, please feel free to pm Ric about it. And I don't have access to pms, in case you were going to ask.
 
Why is it when I Google: Reverend Jarel Robinson-Brown & BBC, I get no result?

I wanted to post a link to a relevant news story and the BBC is, or should be, impartial - but its just not there.

From elsewhere online I got these key points: "London-based Reverend Jarel Robinson-Brown sparked a fierce backlash on social media on Wednesday night, after condemning the national tribute to the life of the World War Two hero." On twitter he wrote: “I will offer prayers for the repose of his kind and generous soul, but I will not be joining the 'National Clap'. The cult of Captain Tom is a cult of White British Nationalism."

It's funny, when I first read this, a word very similar to 'cult', popped into my head.

The need for attention and relevance has seemingly backfired badly for the no mark racist ****.
Shit stirring twats like him are doing far more harm than good where acceptance,inclusion and equality are concerned.

Do something that cannot be ignored even if it is twattish.

Just read his book whilst on holiday. An absolute decent man who gave 100 per cent to everything he did who put everyone before himself , really does make you wonder where society is heading . If you ever get the time it’s a good read especially his war years .
