Probably just move to the next lane as you approach a sliproad. Think that's common courtesy.Not sure what's changed as it never used to be a problem.
See also people using slip roads on dual carridgeways/ motorways. Match the speed or wait for a gap. Or just blindly pull out as it's your right to join. This also includes people who brake to let said idiot onto the road. Suddenly. With no thought to what's behind you.
Some people are determined to push in though, can't legislate for that
