Car Insurance

I dunno the evoque isn't the best for reliability tbf, finished 30th out of 34 family SUVs surveyed and LR as a brand came in 28th out of 32 for manufacturing.

Like you say though, evoques are being driven by women doing school runs with diesel engines and probably never letting the engine clear the dpf on a good run. A girl near me uses one for the school run it sounds like a bag of shit when it goes past, bet it's never seen a service or 70mph in its life.
Exactly, mum's doing 5 mile school runs on supermarket diesel, serviced once every 5 years by Bill & Bob's Back Street Discount Garage Ltd and then moan about reliability when their DPF and EGR valves shit the bed. It's not the car's fault, it's the idiot behind the wheel 90% of the time.

They'll fit odd matching shite tyres on 4wd vehicles then moan when the Halex or rear diff cacks it as well.

Can spot abused cars from a mile off.

Try Tesco Insurance.
I paid £680 for my insurance on a 2020 Evoque last year.
Went on the Tesco site yesterday and they are quoting £540
for their 'gold' cover, which is way above what I currently have.
I'm definitely renewing with Tesco next month.
Tesco gave me my lowest quote too. Even better if you have a club card.

Will check out Tesco. Thanks. The risk of failure is inevitable if you don’t even try, but the rewards of taking that first step can be substantial. After years of working for myself, I decided to return to college to pursue further education and expand my horizons. It was a significant shift, but I was determined to make it work. Thanks to the support from https://ukwritings.com/reviews , I’ve been able to manage my academic responsibilities effectively without any major issues. Their services have been instrumental in helping me navigate through assignments, providing valuable resources and feedback.

To be fair it's the original fitting of the DPF's and the fault of the car industry by selling them in this fashion without a sniff of an advisory. A while ago no one knew you had to baby sit the filters by taking the car out for regular spins to regenerate, or not using diesels for stop start journeys, which as we now know are disastrous for the DPF.

My VW Passat's DPF bit the dust at 115k and was serviced beyond the mark as it was used as a Taxi from new. Not only a full regular service but a 3 month intermediate oil change too. Whatever it wanted it got as it was my livelihood. New DPF would have been £1800 so fooked it off on a PX and lesson well and truly learnt.

Now at peace in the retirement fields, I drive a direct injection, taking it for spins twice weekly down the motorway and only put E5 fuel in to protect the injectors from eventually carbening up. This I know through research, but the Diesel particulate filters were not advised upon until it was too late. Bag o' shite mechanism and not the fault of the end user.
