Cardiff (FA Cup 4th Rd ) Post Match Thread

Yeah but I doubt he went on the pitch thinking he was going to do one of our players. That was a last ditch lunge that he got all wrong.
I doubt he went on the pitch thinking he was going to do one of our players either, I don't think any player does that, but do me a favour saying that was a "last ditch lunge that he got all wrong", its nowhere near the ball, and he's looking exactly where he hits him, its a f**king malicious assault on a fellow players because he'd the audacity to run 80 yards past most of their team, and was just about to shoot and perhaps score, he knew exactly what he was doing, it was out of pure frustration at their situation, and was intended to stop Sane.

The rules have to be changed. Mistimed tackles and accidents are one thing but just lately players have maliciously gone out of their way to deliberately injure our key players.

Retrospective action HAS to be taken against shit like this irrespective if they have been issued a yellow card or not. IG I was us I would say unless it happens we will play all our second string in every domestic cup competition and once we go ahead in the premiere league we will just do what we did in the second half at Cardiff.
Agreed.

The man who should be sacked is Riley, the buck should stop with him, his next tactic is to keep mason away from city games, I despise this specimen with a passion, pizzas anyone

Offs ...why are we trying to protect St Harry of Kane?? ....dirty cynical challenge that was... but the meedja.....can’t swallow that narrative......

A lot have been saying this for ages. It's no coincidence, that under his stewardship, the standard of officiating has plummeted.
He was also a complete useless fucker, as a ref.

Is it just my perception or have our players been targeted more recently with agricultural challenges since the Scouse Iniesta Danny Murphy called for players to "Put one on the City players" on MOTD a while ago? Seemed to have been some horror tackles on our players since he came out with that statement and we'll be lucky to see the season out without anyone getting seriously injured. Could his statement not be classed as "Incenting violence?"

The pizzagate game told me everything I need to know about Riley, I’ve seen some bent officiating in my time but he should have been jailed for that game alone, their is something very sinister about him he was too far into Ferguson’s ear for my liking

I think Mason is mostly kept away from games involving the top teams but unfortunately we have had him twice this month.
