Cardiff (FA Cup 4th Rd ) Post Match Thread

A very good point, today is one of the first time that he's not played that I haven't actually felt we missed him. We've won more difficult games without him, but you can always see he's not there, today, I really never thought about it, such was our control of the first half.

One thing I did notice was that our movement up front was clever in the first half, as all the attacking players showed for it, almost in rotation, but after half time we didn't look anywhere near as fluent with Aguero on.
The game was won by then.
The game plan was clearly to keep the ball from them in order to save our energy, reduce the risk of injury and limit their chances.
It was a deliberate ploy by Pep to just kill the game off and it was very well executed.
It was a very clinical and controlled performance.

Bennett just apologised on twitter for his awful kick on Sane saying hope he hasn’t caused too much damage.

That pathetic apology by the Rochdale RAG is clearly a club sanctioned attempt to quieten the “noise”. He was obviously so gutted that he tried the same on Brahim. ****

Why did he do much the same thing later in the game on Diaz ? Stick your apologies tosser.
