Cardiff Fans

A lot of you are laying into Cardiff fans and Welsh people on here but that could have happened to any team that brought the numbers they did. All it takes is for one thing to happen and all hell is let loose, hope something similar doesn't happen at a City away game otherwise a few of you will have egg on your faces.

But it was the Cardiff fans and not any other fans. Statement makes no sense and comes across as defending the scum who acted like they did..
Plenty of other teams have brought those numbers without laying into stewards going about there job .

I am not defending what happened but iv'e been in plenty of away ends to see that it only takes one incident to set off a chain of events. Calling a whole fan base scum on the basis of a few fans throwing stewards about (Who are public enemy number one on here every week) is ridiculous especially as some on here have witnessed City fans punching a Cardiff fan from behind, are we all scumbags? Cardiff have this reputation which the club and fans have worked hard to shake off, I got mates who are Cardiff fans and say they get treated differently because of this reputation which makes sense.

That being said, throwing around stewards is wrong and cowardly but really this is a mountain out of a mole hill.

Shit fans.

Numbers aren't impressive when you consider they're mainly rag/scouse plastics who tag along with Cardiff for a big day out at a real club.

Be glad to see the back of them.

Shit club, shit fans.

You do have a valid point, I saw the very same thing when Blackpool were promoted

75% of that lot today will own rag/scouse shirts etc, they'll be Cardiff fans whilst they're up but come next August they'll be the arsehole in the pub in a rag shirt just like last season and the season before that.

True story this

Before we played them at their place, we had one sign up here, his first post was (after pretending to be a City fan) inviting City fans to a pub, someone on here who knew Cardiff said it was in one of the worst areas of Cardiff and any City fan would be lucky to get out alive

We banned him on the spot

Wouldn't say that about Cardiff but you could easily say that about Swansea.

as are posts from boring posters.;)

Whatevs. When us Welsh hear the usual stuff about sheep we just roll our eyes and assume the person is a backward simpleton with limited intelligence who has Chubby Brown VHSs pride of place in their shit glass sideboards.

Haha, I can just picture you at todays game. All the City fans are singing "Are you fighting over sheep" and you're stood there with arms on hips going "FFS lads, this is such an outdated stereotype and we should all be above it"

were you stood next to me ;)

proud to have welsh ancestry

I've lived in Wales, small mentality, they get off on stuff like this.

When the 90s finally arrives in Wales things will go off big time, quite looking forward to it.

A hell of a lot of them(historically lower league clubs) are 'second team' fans though.

What went around and goes around comes around.
Sure any Blues who have been to Cardiff over the years wont shed a tear for any of those who
may of taken an uncalled for smack today?! Bunch of twats.[/quote

To be honest I would rather not see any 40 year old get attacked regardless of who he supports. Absolutely no reason whe he should be at anyway responsible for the behaviour of others.

Well done Pablo for stepping in!I always hated shit like this when football violence was in it's heyday, liberty takers. In the old days it was a pretty frequent occurance from both parties, away fans getting ambushed whether they wanted it or not.I thought on the whole that we had left that behind,Cardiff have enough hooligans if the City lads wanted a scrap i am sure they could have found them instead of picking on normal fans.

If any of those lads are on here i hope you are feeling like the c**** you are when you look back.It ain't hard and it ain't clever as you will probably find out when the boot is on the other foot one day[no pun intended!]
