Can we afford not to start three of our best attacking players: Aguero (may not be through choice), Bernardo and Sterling?

On balance though I think I'd make the same choice

Yeah, it’s a tough balancing act but I guess Cardiff at home is as good a time as any to rotate. At least we’d have those options on the bench (although maybe not Aguero?), if things aren’t going to plan.

This will be another Attack v Defence match, with Cardiff employing the tactics we are used to seeing now of a 5-4-1 with no pressing of the ball carrier.
It really is up to us to break them down and PUT THE CHANCES AWAY.
They’re gonna get a pummelling from Chelsea today, which will leave them in a really poor position, knowing they have to get something at ours. I think they’ll try and shut up shop, and go for falling over at every opportunity to stop play and get the free kick which will be lumped into the box.
Get a strong team played and ahead early, THEN allow Mahrez to come on, imo he’s not dynamic enough and too predictable.
There is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to win this game with the standard of football we are showing at the moment. Our finishing needs some a polish but that’s it!!!!
3-0 please.

Less than 3 days recovery until the Brighton game, he'll definitely rotate.

------------------Ederson
Danilo----Stones-----Laporte----Zinchenko
----------------Fernandinho
---------Gundogan-------Bernardo
Sterling------------Jesus---------------Sane

Subs: Muric, Otamendi, Walker, Foden, KDB, D.Silva, Mahrez

Assuming Aguero needs a rest, otherwise probably have him on the bench.

Wouldn't mind us putting the goal difference into double figures over Liverpool, just to be safe.

Surely we have to be full strength and that means Aguero starting? Premier league takes priority.
Not if there is any risk of any further damage to Aguero, wouldn’t be very surprised if he doesn’t start either game this week, and he’s rested for Spurs and the run in.
