carling cup draw - city v birmingham w/c 19th sept

Path to Wembley beckons again.

If we can beat Birmingham, half the Premiership clubs will be knocked out by the last 16
 
Birmingham could be a toughie if they are fired up but their squad has been pillaged and they are already being stretched by Europa League committments. As long as our team isn't too weak we should march on, but playing a near all-EDS side again would probably see us hastily dismissed!

There's too much depth for that, there are too many players who will need a game.

Milner, Johnson, Balo, Barry, Kolarov, Zaba, Savic and maybe even Tevez should get a look.
