Birmingham could be a toughie if they are fired up but their squad has been pillaged and they are already being stretched by Europa League committments. As long as our team isn't too weak we should march on, but playing a near all-EDS side again would probably see us hastily dismissed!

There's too much depth for that, there are too many players who will need a game.

Milner, Johnson, Balo, Barry, Kolarov, Zaba, Savic and maybe even Tevez should get a look.

You know things have changed at City when we're talking about Tevez maybe getting a run-out in the Carling Cup.

I'm gonna try and go if the ticket prices are fair (under £20). It is hypocritical to complain about attendances for games like this without at least trying to go, so I'll try and make it if I can spare the dosh after paying for my season card, joining the CL scheme, and having to pay £1600 for a new computer.
