Carlos arrested

ESPN in U.S. reporting Carlos Tevez facing 6 mo jail

According to ESPN, it seems that Carlos Tevez was stopped by the police outside of Macclesfield while driving his Porche. Unfortunately, he was driving without a license having lost his license back on Jan 16th. Tevez apparently did not understand what "Constabulary" meant according to his legal team.

I don't know if this video will play in the UK.

6 months for driving without a license? good lord!

Was supposedly also driving under the influence.

Your source of information?????

I think the term used in the clip is ''Tevez is facing a possible 6 month jail sentence....

In the same way that dropping litter faces a maximum fine of £XXXXXX amount, but very rarely given.

should be good for Barnsley.

Re: ESPN in U.S. reporting Carlos Tevez facing 6 mo jail

He is rich and putting him in prison would be an outrage, so he will get a hefty fine and possibly given a warning (suspended sentence with date attached?) as to future behavior. City should either fine him or FORCE him to pay for a driver!

THEN, he needs a good slap!

He's been in the UK for what.... 6 years?
Why the fuck hasn't he simply taken his driving test?

From the day I arrived in the US I knew / understood I had 12 months to drive on my UK licence and then I had to take a Massachusetts driving test. I didn't need an advisor or my employer to tell me that. I looked it up myself.

I could understand it if it was in the US. They are much stricter with sentences so not surprised about the OTT headline.
