BBC running it on the 1 o'clock TV news, funny how these things gain extra importance just when the rags failings are in the spotlight.
Probably one of the stupidest things i've read in the whole paranoia bollocks on here.

How can the club seek out and ban someone for smoking a none toxic perfectly legal electric cigarette, and not look after a £30,000,000 asset.

looks like Dzeko might get a run in the first team after all.
Unlikely to go to court before the end of the season, he'll be gone then anyway.

This type of offense usually gets dealt with quickly. Its usually clear cut, there isnt much evidense to be collected, not likely to be many witnesses other than the police. He might plead not gulity (eg it wasnt me driving) but otherwise there's no real reason for it to drag on.
Obviously nobody knows the circumstances of the offence, and it doesn't say "charged" in any of the reports I've seen, just "arrested". He's been released on bail, which suggests that other evidence is being looked at, and/or its gone to the cps to see if charges should be brought. Even drink driving offences can take several months to go to court, and I would think a magistrates court will deal with more serious cases (such as violence like assault cases) as a priority over driving offences.

Re: Carlos arrested

6 months prison sentence in the beckoning now if he gets a prison sentence the agenda brigade will be justified!

But it will be a a slap on the hand an extra ban and a 5k fine...

Time to get rid of him if this charge sticks.

Why?
What bearing does this have upon his ability as a footballer?
The rags have an,(alleged), rapist,a bloke who fucks his brothers missus, and Shrek who shagged someone else when his wife was heavily pregnant with his kid.
Lee Hughes killed two people and drove off,yet he's still playing.
Football isn't exactly renowned for being the pinnacle of morality.
Would you expect to lose your job for a motoring offence?
