Obviously nobody knows the circumstances of the offence, and it doesn't say "charged" in any of the reports I've seen, just "arrested". He's been released on bail, which suggests that other evidence is being looked at, and/or its gone to the cps to see if charges should be brought. This type of offense usually gets dealt with quickly. Its usually clear cut, there isnt much evidense to be collected, not likely to be many witnesses other than the police. He might plead not gulity (eg it wasnt me driving) but otherwise there's no real reason for it to drag on.
Lets hope the judge is a city supporter and not a scum bag otherwise he might go down.Just said on sky,he could get 6 months in prison....unlikely,in my eyes
